C.E. Smith Museum of Anthropology
- Changing exhibits focus on aspects of world archaeology and ethnology
- Houses collections and archives from 18 Bay Area archaeological sites

Coyote Hills Regional Park
- On the southeast shore of San Francisco Bay, explore the tidal marshland
- Visit the Ohlone Indian exhibit at the visitor center
- Guided tours of some of the last remaining large archaeological mound sites

- Open April to October from 8 a.m to 8 p.m., October to April from 8 a.m to 6 p.m., unless otherwise posted

Oakland Museum of California
- Exhibits on Native Americans of California, the California Gold Rush and other aspects of local cultural and natural history
- Location: downtown Oakland at 1000 Oak Street, one block from the Lake Merritt BART Station
