Location: Sacramento, CA

Salary $6,563.00 – $8,153.00/month

Duties:

Core responsibilities includes liaising with the Information Technology office to ensure the functionality of the database systems storing cultural resources information. Working with system vendors on contracts, updates, patches, and projects. Coordinating with other divisions to maintain data standards and quality in shared systems. Supervising a team of collections and data administrators and records managers who oversee the systems’ data, help desk, and training focused on, but not limited to collections, projects, historical data, images, facilities, GIS, archaeological sites, historic properties and features, and other legally mandated information. The position requires a broad working knowledge of various database systems including collections management databases. The reporting location for this position is Sacramento, CA and the position requires intermittent travel throughout the State.
