We are currently seeking a Registered Professional Archaeologist to provide consulting services
on a wide variety of projects throughout coastal and central California. Duties will include
archaeological surveys and monitoring, analysis of finds, preparation of cultural resource
technical reports and CEQA/NEPA cultural resource impact analyses.

Qualifications for the position include a Master’s degree in cultural resources (archaeology,
public archaeology, cultural resource management, etc.), qualification as an RPA (Registered
Professional Archaeologist), certification from an accredited archaeological field school that
provides an understanding of theoretical and practical approaches to research design
implementation, or have demonstrated equivalent experience. The candidate must have a
minimum of three years’ experience as an archaeological consultant in California.
CEQA/NEPA compliance experience is required. Mitigation site planning, permitting, and
monitoring experience are a plus.

We are looking for an archaeologist with clear and concise technical writing competency, proven
project management and budget tracking abilities, strong proposal preparation/client interaction
and marketing skills, regulatory agency permitting knowledge, and extensive field experience
within coastal and central California, or similar geographical locations. The ideal candidate will
possess patience, flexibility, and enthusiasm. We are looking for a team player with a
