The mission of the Standards and Ethics Advisory Committee is to serve as an advisory board to the SCA Board concerning professional standards and ethical guidelines for all SCA members, and regularly bring issues and solutions to the SCA board. These standards and guidelines should assist and advise practicing archaeologists, individuals, agencies, and other entities in how to maintain high professional archaeological standards of conduct, documentation, and reporting.
